Founding of Women in Games Eh

Established as a grassroots, non-profit community group by women leaders in Vancouver, Canada. Founded to answer the critical need for greater representation of women in the games industry. A safe, supportive space designed to connect, grow, and build genuine community.

Level 02

Community Building & Support

Fosteri an inclusive environment with networking, mentorship, and a deep sense of belonging. When COVID kept us isolated, our Discord community served as a constant lifeline, reminding diverse creators they were never truly alone.

Level 03

Evolution to Diversity in Games

Strategic rebrand reflecting broader commitment to inclusivity. Expanded mission to uplift LGBTQIA+, non-binary, Two-Spirit, gender-diverse, Indigenous creators, people of color, and all marginalized voices. Allies welcomed.

An Inclusive Space for All

Now 1000+ members strong globally. Dedicated to advancing equity within games as a powerful artistic and cultural expression. Empowering underrepresented artists, fostering community-led creative exchange, and making games a meaningful, accessible art form.
